2026 - 2027 School Opening Information

Please find your timetable and locker information by logging into your student PowerSchool account after August 21, 2026. If you are new to our Division, you may not have a course schedule on the day of your registration. Please visit us in the office and we will provide you with one.

Student Registration Days

All students are required to attend Student Registration Days at the end of August during their assigned time and on their assigned day. These sessions are mandatory and serve several important purposes to help students prepare for the new school year:

• Update your timetable, especially if you completed a Summer School course
• Meet with your cohort Assistant Principal if you have questions about your schedule
• Take your school photo for the yearbook and student ID
• Issuing of lockers
  • Our lockers are limited - All grade 10 students will receive a locker
  • If you are in grade 11 or grade 12, and would like a locker, please add your name to our locker distribution list here.
• Purchase Arc Cards
• Pay school fees

All students are expected to review both their First and Second Semester courses. We will be adjusting timetables for both semesters, if needed. Due to the number of students enrolled in courses, timetable changes will be made only for the following reasons:

• Incomplete schedule - missing required courses for high school completion and/or post-secondary registration
• Course conflict
• Change in course mark necessitates a change in course stream (i.e. 30-1 to 30-2)
• Course(s) completed during summer school

*Course changes will not be considered for reasons other than those listed above

Grade 10 Orientation Day

We’re excited to welcome our newest Ravens to St. Oscar Romero High School! Grade 10 Orientation Day will be held on Wednesday, September 2, 2026, and is exclusively for Grade 10 students. The day will begin at 8:30am in the gym, where students will be introduced to our administrative team, Student Services, and our Student Union members. Throughout the day, students will:

• Follow their class schedules
• Meet their Semester 1 classroom teachers
• Enjoy their first lunch from Giannis!
• Take a guided tour of our incredible school

Paperless PowerSchool Reporting

St. Oscar Romero High School will continue to support paperless reporting. We encourage all families to regularly access PowerSchool at https://powerschool.ecsd.net/publicto stay up to date with your child’s real-time grades and attendance. If you do not have a PowerSchool Parent Account, please call our office so we can help you set one up.
